Dinner Accessories

Tuesday, 25 March 2014

I went out for dinner to my favourite restaurant, Zizzi's, last week. My outfit wasn't particularly interesting, so here is just a shot of the accessories I used. This is the first time I've worn these shoes and I really like them. They're from Ugg Austalia and there will be most info ect. about my recent order from them soon. The bag is probably my most used bag, the Mulberry Effie Satchel. It's the perfect size for most days and I love the simple style of it. Hope you're having a great Tuesday.

Return of the Denim

Sunday, 16 March 2014

Denim Jacket: Crafted at Republic, Top:  Topshop, Skirt: H&M, Bag: Kate Spade

I'm not normally one to go for skirts but I picked up this one recently and I really love it. It's now March though, and socially acceptable to wear cropped denim jackets again though which I'm really excited for. I especially love wearing them with all black like I have done here. Today I'm going shopping to pick up a few things I need for going on holiday next week, it's so nice to be at home and do normal Sunday things with my family.

I've just linked my blog to bloglovin so head on over and follow me to be updated when I have a new post!

Harem Introductions

Top: Next, Trousers: H&M, Bag: Kate Spade, Sandals: old

Previously I've never been a big fan of harem style trousers, however while shopping at the weekend I decided to pick up a pair in the spur of the moment. Surprisingly enough, I think they are my new obsession. I'm a big fan of statement trousers and these tick all the boxes without being patterned or an alarming shade of tangerine. I previously owned a more fitted patterned pair that I wore lots last summer, but I prefer these ones. These are definitely going to be one of my go-to pieces during the next few months.

Home Stripes

Wednesday, 12 March 2014

Top: Abercrombie & Fitch, Jeans: Levi, Bag: Kate Spade, Sunglasses: Ray Bans

My first outfit post since returning home from university for my Spring holiday. Being at home has such a relaxed atmosphere, which definitely influences my wardrobe. The weather in the UK is definitely getting better though as today was the first time I wore my sunglasses this year, only for half an hour though but it still counts!!

Birthday Bag

Tuesday, 11 March 2014

It was my birthday on Sunday and much to my excitement I received this gorgeous bag from my parents. It's a custom Longchamp Le Pliage in black with cream stripe and my initials embossed into the top leather flap. I had no idea you could order custom ones from the Longchamp website until a few weeks ago. I picked the colours for it myself and I'm really pleased with how it's turned out. I went for a slightly larger size so I'll mainly be using it for travelling and days I need to carry about my laptop.

I've purposefully not included a full view, so you'll have to come back to see it in all it's beauty when it's first included in an outfit. That post should be up within the next two weeks as I'm going on holiday to the Canary Islands next week and this will be coming with me. How exciting!

Jeans and Stripes

Monday, 10 March 2014

Top: Dorothy Perkins, Jeans: Topshop, Watch: Skagen

This is an outfit from last week just going into the studio. I love this simple grey striped top and think it creates such a sophisticated look when worn with black.

Pattern Interest

Sunday, 2 March 2014

Top: H&M, Jeans: Zara, Scarf: M&S

Another of my typical day outfits, plain top, jeans and a patterned scarf. I like to dress very simply but have an area of interest or an accent colour to my outfit. I really love this scarf, I got its few years ago from M&S, not somewhere I would purposefully go into when shopping, however my Mum is a fan of their clothes so I spotted the scarf during a trip in with her. It's such a large scarf which makes it really enjoyable to wear as it sits really nicely. I also love the snake-like print on it which is again not something I would usually gravitate towards, however it think it works really well here.
